About Marina Bogdanovic
Marina is a Toronto-based visual artist whose creativity was nurtured from childhood after moving from Ukraine. Influenced by her mother and inspired by nature, she explores painting, drawing, sculpting, and a wide range of artistic forms. By her teens she was already teaching arts and crafts, later pursuing a BFA Honours in Visual Arts at York University with the goal of becoming an art teacher. Versatile in mediums from acrylics and oils to clay and found objects, Marina’s work spans abstraction, surrealism, realism, and landscapes. She sees art as both a personal journal and a way to inspire awareness, imagination, and connection in others.
“The paintings mirror my inner life, serving as an ongoing journal without words. For me, painting is a way to access feelings and reflect the beauty, depth, and richness of nature.” — Marina B.
